Threading a Bobbin

At the bottom of the machine is the bobbin case holder. This is sometimes horizontal, sometimes vertical and has a door covering it. Open this door and take out the bobbin case by lifting the arm on the case and pulling out.

1 Place the bobbin in the bobbin case so that the thread is wound clockwise

2 Pull the thread through the slit on the edge of the holder until it sits in the T-shaped hole on the case.

3 Pull out the small arm on the holder to keep the bobbin in place and, with the point sticking upwards, place back into the bobbin case holder. Release the arm and close the door.
