HOW TO...
Thread a Needle
There are three quick and easy methods to thread a needle. We show you how...
Lick and push method
1 Suck the end of the thread to moisten it and give it a slight twist with your thumb and forefinger.
2 Hold up the needle and push the moistened end through the eye.

Thick thread method
A needle threader is a great way to pull thick thread through the eye of a needle. However, if you don't have one to hand, here's how to get the same effect:
1 Cut and fold a piece of paper narrow enough to fit through the eye of the needle.
2 Place the end of your thread within this fold and push the paper (or needle threader) through the eye of the needle.
3 Once you've threaded the needle pull about 5 inches excess on one side so that it doesn't come undone.

Thin thread method
1 Loop the thread over the needle, pull it tight to get a fold in the thread.
2 Push this folded point through the eye of the needle.
If you have difficulty seeing the thread, place a white piece of paper behind your needle
