Join Cloth and be the first to know about the latest clubs and events around the country, the best new products, fabrics and accessories, and where to buy them in our shop directory. We’re not just a website but a heaving mine of information.

Who is Cloth?

Creative editors Harriet de Winton and Ros Marshall share a passion for making stuff and are bursting with creative ideas which will soon fill this website and our lovely magazine which you can buy here. Despite ideas in abundance, Harriet and Ros are open to suggestions and if you have anything that you think will be of interest to other Cloth readers then please email them on harriet@clothmagazine.co.uk or ros@clothmagazine.co.uk. You never know - we may even showcase your project in our magazine or here at clothmagazine.co.uk

Cloth is published by Real Design & Media who also publish Fork (www.forkmagazine.co.uk), a magazine about South West, seasonal and organic food. From the field to the fork, we love food but care about where it comes from, just like our clothes! We also publish a monthly listings magazine called ‘The Cut’.

Why Cloth?

Green fashion, make do and mend and the rejection of disposable fashion is important to us. We want to go back to the resourcefulness of our mothers’ and grandmothers’ generation where people would sew a button back on rather than throw something away. Recycling is important but we also want to have fun and encourage creativity and imagination. We don’t all want to look the same do we? Even if you do buy your clothes from the high street then why not customise it? We are inspired by vintage but not at any cost. We’re always looking for ways to save you money!

We hope you enjoy our magazine and website and welcome your feedback.
